Macrobathra heminephela (Silver Wattle Moth)

The adult moths have dark brown forewings, each with bold cream patches, including an elongated cream triangle on the costa. The hindwings are dark brown with yellow fringes with dark tips. The wingspan is about 2 cms.  The species has been reported in :  Queensland,  New South Wales,  Australian Capital Territory,  Victoria, and  Tasmania.
