Acmosara polyxena (Heliocosma Group)

The adult moths of this species have fawn forewings, each with various markings including a pale curved diagonal band across the middle. The thorax has a erectable tuft of dark scales. The hindwings are pale silvery brown. The wingspan is about 2 cms.
